Private pickup includes Reshopper’s secure transaction system and buyer protection, which helps you if issues arise with the purchase; as a seller, you also avoid the need to arrange payment outside the platform.

In addition, you need to coordinate details regarding where and when the item will be handed over. Stick to the agreements you make and be sure to communicate any changes, such as a change in time.

Important! Always use Reshopper’s transaction system. If payment is made outside of Reshopper’s system, you must agree on the payment method yourselves, and you will not be protected against issues such as fraud.

Ensure that the item(s) match the sales description so the buyer does not regret the purchase after getting home. Generally, an item is sold "as seen," and the right to make a claim regarding defects applies only if the buyer and seller have agreed to it. Always remember to get the agreement in writing.

If the buyer returns home with an item they believe is in a different condition than described—and the transaction is covered by Reshopper’s Buyer Protection—the buyer should contact the seller to see if the disagreement can be resolved between them. If a solution cannot be reached, the buyer can initiate a buyer protection case, which will involve both parties in a resolution process with Reshopper.
