Parcel code and drop-off

Regardless of the shipping company, you must pack the items securely. GLS offers a number of useful tips that apply no matter which carrier you use.

When you, as the seller, accept an offer, a parcel code is automatically generated.

• Write the unique parcel code directly on the package; do not write anything else on it (Note: the parcel code is valid for one package only!)
• For GLS parcels, a QR code is scanned at the parcel shop upon drop-off.
• DAO parcels can be dropped off at a parcel shop or parcel locker using the 9-digit code (DAO-xxx-xxx-xxx).
• Once the offer is accepted, the seller has 3 days to drop off the parcel before the code expires.
• INSTABOX – unlike dropping off at a convenience store, Instabox uses parcel lockers. To optimize space, you must book a locker, after which you have 60 minutes to drop off the parcel – Remember to enter the correct dimensions of your parcel when booking the drop-off via the tracking link.

Note: It may take up to 30 minutes after drop-off for the parcel status to update to "dropped off" in the Reshopper app (as the shipping company does not share this information immediately). Remember to get a receipt from the shipping company right away at the parcel shop or locker.
