Being an Expert
Do you want to be an Expert – or send clothes off to be sold?
- You can become an Expert and help others sell their clothes by submitting a request here or emailing ekspert@reshopper.com
- You can get help selling your clothes by creating a shipment here: Create shipment
What do we expect from you as an Expert?
Experts are our super-sellers. Our most important ambassadors. A key reason why Reshopper is Reshopper.
That is why we set high standards for our Experts!
We expect you to:
- Have space for at least 300 items of clothing
- Be able to handle at least one shipment per week
- Be able to store the clothing for 9 months
- Communicate in a polite tone and in accordance with Reshopper’s guidelines
- Respond to buyers within an average of 12 hours
- Be MitID verified
- Have a profile picture
- Offer at least 2 shipping methods
How much can I earn?
You receive 25% of the items' selling price, plus a handling fee of 5 kroner per item sold.
If you ship 100 items per month at an average price of 80 kroner, you earn 2,500 kroner per month before tax.
Additionally, you are paid to:
- Dispose of items that are not in a sellable condition (2 kr. / item)
- Store items that remain unsold after the first 3 months (an additional 2 kr. / item sold). You can see the storage fee starting from the fourth month.
- Receive an additional 50 free credits per month.
Do I have to pay tax on what I sell as an Expert?
Your earnings as an Expert constitute taxable income, which you must report to the tax authorities yourself.
What if I receive items in poor condition?
We make an effort to explain to the clothing owners that they should only send items they believe can be sold.
If, contrary to expectations, you receive clothing that you deem unsellable, you must register the items as "poor condition" during the item creation process and keep them until the owner has approved the listing.
Once the owner has approved the listing, you may dispose of the clothing.
You are paid a handling fee of 2 DKK per item of clothing you dispose of in this way.
If the clothing does not meet the following requirements, you can reject it:
- No holes or stains
- No bad odors or perfume
- The clothing must have a value of at least 30 DKK.
How do I register a defective item?
If the item does not meet the requirements of being odor-free and generally in good condition, you must register the item as a "defective item."
You do this by tapping "Register defective item" during the item creation process – here:

What does it cost to be an Expert?
You need to provide your own packaging to send items to customers who buy from you (just as you usually do).
Otherwise, there are no costs associated with being an Expert.

Item creation
How do I receive the items?
We send them to you automatically once a Seller has created a shipment.
As an Expert, you have an extra setting where you can indicate that you are not ready to receive more items for a short or long period; however, generally speaking, we send you packages of clothing whenever Owners tell us they have items they would like to put up for sale.
It is worth noting that when an Owner creates a shipment, we ask what clothing they are sending—which gender it is suitable for and the sizes. We then try to match the clothing packages you receive with what you already have in stock, so that customers in your shop can find, for example, a complete set of size 98 clothing for girls.
When can I expect to receive my first items?
We expect you to receive your first shipment 5–7 business days after signing up as an Expert. You will receive a notification as soon as a shipment is on its way to you!
When should I list the items?
We expect you to start listing the items within a week of their arrival at the parcel shop.
Who sets the price?
The Experts do.
You are our super-sellers and the experts on what items should cost on Reshopper. When signing up, the clothing owner agrees that the Expert sets the price 👌🏼
Can I create clothing bundles?
As a general rule, each item should be listed separately. If you receive clothing that goes together as a set (e.g., 3 identical bodysuits or a bodysuit with matching trousers), you can list them together. To list clothing as a multi-piece bundle, the items must be the same size, brand, and style. If listed as a bundle, it is treated as a single item, and you receive a handling fee based on that sale.
Can I wash the clothes myself?
The clothing you receive in Expert shipments must remain in the same condition throughout the process. Therefore, you must not wash it or do anything similar; you are expected to store it exactly as received.
Do I need to use a special listing process for Expert items?
The listings must be created using the "Expert listing" feature in the app.
It resembles the standard listing process you know, with a few exceptions:
- It allows you to use our built-in inventory system (colors and numbers).
- It tracks who owns the items—and therefore who you need to share the sale price with.
- It allows you to reject items if they do not meet the requirements.
Once you have picked up your first Expert shipment from a parcel shop, you will receive a notification guiding you through the Expert item listing process.
Selling items
Can buyers purchase both my own items and the Expert items in the same order?
YES! Once the items have been listed using the Expert listing process, buyers can see the Expert items in your shop alongside all your other items—and they are free to purchase both your own items and the Expert items in a single order :)
Can I buy items I received in an Expert shipment myself?
If you receive items that you or your children simply cannot resist, you can buy them for yourself as follows:
- List the items on Reshopper using your Expert profile
- Log in to Reshopper using a different profile
- Purchase the items from the Expert profile using the other profile
- Remember: You must pay via Reshopper. You are welcome to choose "doorstep pickup," but it is important to use Reshopper's payment system—otherwise, we cannot correctly distribute the funds between you as the Expert and the original owner of the clothing.
- As an Expert, we expect you to set the right price from the start; therefore, you may only purchase the item yourself at that price.
